Hi, my name is Joan Carcasole and I am the owner of HiTimes Pomeranians breeding purebred, CKC registered Pomeranians in Calgary, Alberta.  I've been showing  since 1980.  I am a Lifetime Member of the CKC.  Canadian Kennel Club.  30 years!

 I didn't get into breeding of the Boxers until 1995.  I first started with Boxers, a Working Group breed, and produced many Champions, Canadian and American, in 10 years. Breeding Boxers and showing them has taught me many lessons about how a well structured dog should move.

In 2005 I also wanted a Toy breed dog to show, and decided to purchase two beautiful Japanese Chins.  What a delightful little dog they are.  I showed them and obtained their Cdn and Am Champion titles,  and to many great wins!   A few years later I moved into the Pomeranian breed.   I have been breeding and showing them for 17 years.   I love the challenge of being a Pomeranian breeder.  Trying to produce a beautiful Pom that follows the standard with TYPE, CORRECT STRUCTURE and MOVEMENT.  My Pomeranian puppies are raised in my home and I usually only have 1 or 2 litters per year.

Over the years I produced some beautiful Pomeranians that went on to become Top Winning dogs and International Champions ( USA, Australia, Thailand, Phillipines, S. Korea, Russia and surrounding countries).   Two in particular:  Multi Ch. MBIS HiTimes Read My Lips, "Jagger".  He earned Champion titles in 11 countries handled by his owner Liya !   And,   Am Thailand MBIS MBISS Ch. HiTimes What The Inferno, "Danny" who won 86 Best In Shows, under the expert hands of Curtis Smith becoming the TOP WINNING POMERANIAN IN HISTORY.  I would like to thank all of the owners of the Poms I produced over the years that worked to make them Champions in their countries.  Without these wonderful people I wouldn't have achieved those amazing wins.  Honorable mentions:  Celeste Flourney, generously, let me obtain two of my foundation bitches, a "Parker" daughter, Am Ch. Finch's Black Satin Dreams, and "Eve",  Am/Cdn Ch. Cr Classic Creation.  Liz Heckert of Silhouette Poms, who produced and allowed me to have, one of the most correctly structured Pomeranians I have ever seen. (in my own opinion). BISS Am/Cdn Ch. Silhouettes Sixth Sense, "Cole".  He became the sire of so many beautiful Champion puppies, world wide.  Christine Heartz and John Heartz of Chriscendo Pomeranians, who thankfully allowed me to breed my girls to their beautiful boys.  And finally, Curtiss Smith, spotted a Pomeranian, shown by his owner,  at a Show in the US, and believed in him, allowing me to have the honour , of my small time kennel, HiTimes Pomeranians, in Alberta, Canada, of producing the Top Winning Pomeranian in HISTORY.  Being the Breeder of the Top winning Pomeranian in  history, proved to me, that I didn't have to be a large kennel breeder.  Never having more that 2 or 3 breeding females here to work with.   I will never be able to thank these people enough....but...Thank You.  Joan
